Well, next time, I won’t bake these for quite an hour. Or, maybe, Ill cut the fries a little bit thicker. We had quite a few VERY crunchy fries, but I will definitely be trying again because they tasted very good and even the crunchy ones were edible.
Oven French Fries Makes 4 servings – 90 calories per serving
Ingredients 2 russet potatoes (1 pound), cut into 1/2" thick strips
Preparation Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer so that they do not overlap. Coat them lightly with non-stick spray.
Bake for 1 hour, turning the potato strips every 15 minutes, until they are well-browned and can easily be pierced with a fork.
